Welcome to ECTickets (hereinafter referred to as “the Platform” or “we”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your (“User” or “you”) use of this website and services, including but not limited to browsing the website, purchasing tickets, participating in events, and using related features. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the Platform immediately. The Platform reserves the right to update these Terms at any time, and updated Terms will take effect immediately upon publication on the website without further notice.
The Platform provides online ticketing and event management services for Hong Kong users, covering concerts, theater performances, exhibitions, sports events, and other entertainment activities. We collaborate with event organizers to offer ticket sales, seat selection, and e-ticketing services. All event details (including dates, venues, times, prices, and seating arrangements) are provided by event organizers, and the Platform acts solely as a ticketing intermediary. We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of event information or the actual execution of events. Users should verify event details before purchasing tickets and understand that the Platform is not involved in event organization or content production.
Users purchasing tickets on the Platform must be 18 years or older and have full legal capacity under Hong Kong law. Users under 18 must obtain written consent from a parent or legal guardian, who will be responsible for the user’s account and related liabilities. Users must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date personal information, including but not limited to name, contact number, email address, and identification documents. Users are solely responsible for their account information, and the Platform is not liable for losses due to account security breaches (e.g., password leaks).
Users can purchase tickets through the Platform’s website. Accepted payment methods include international credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express) and local electronic payment methods (Alipay). All transactions are settled in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD).
Users may collect physical tickets at designated locations before the specified deadline or use e-tickets for entry. Collecting physical tickets requires presenting the purchase confirmation email and valid identification (e.g., Hong Kong ID or passport). Users who fail to collect physical tickets on time bear the risk of entry issues.
Except in cases of event cancellation, tickets are considered final sales and are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. If an event is canceled due to the organizer’s decision, users must submit a refund request within 10 working days after the original event date, providing purchase records and identification. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 15 to 30 working days, and the Platform is not liable for delays.
The Platform uses highly secure, compliant payment processing systems to protect your payment information, including credit card details and personal data. Users acknowledge and agree that all transaction risks (e.g., bank rejections) are borne by the user, and the Platform is not responsible for losses due to third-party payment system failures.
Event organizers reserve the right to change event dates, venues, content, performers, or cancel events. The Platform will notify users via email or website announcements within 24 hours of being informed of changes but does not guarantee the timeliness or delivery of notifications. The Platform is not liable for losses due to users not receiving notifications. In case of event cancellation, refunds will be processed according to the organizer’s policy, as specified in the announcement.
If an event is canceled due to force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government orders) or the organizer’s decision, users may apply for a refund within 10 working days after the original event date. Refunds, less any applicable fees, will be processed within 30 to 60 working days.
In the event of a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, Black Rainstorm Warning, or Red/Black Rainstorm Warning issued by the Hong Kong Observatory, events may be suspended or canceled at the organizer’s discretion. Users should check the Platform’s website 2 hours before the event for updates. If an event is canceled due to weather, the refund policy applies; if postponed, no refunds will be granted.
Certain events may have minimum age requirements (e.g., 18 or 21) and may require identification for entry. Users must review age requirements on the event page before purchasing, and the Platform is not responsible for entry denials due to age restrictions.
The Platform makes no express or implied warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or error-free nature of website content, event information, or services. The Platform is not liable for any losses arising from the use of the Platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses (e.g., data loss, revenue reduction, equipment damage, or opportunity costs), even if informed of potential risks, unless expressly required by Hong Kong law.
The Platform does not guarantee the continuous availability, error-free operation, or security of the website or services against viruses/malware. Users bear all risks associated with using the Platform, including damages from third-party links, software downloads, or service interruptions. The Platform is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legality of third-party websites or services.
Event organizers must ensure that all provided event information (e.g., dates, venues, times, prices, seating arrangements, and entry requirements) is accurate and updated promptly. Organizers are fully liable for losses due to inaccurate information and may be required to compensate the Platform and users. Organizers must notify the Platform of significant changes (e.g., cancellations or postponements) at least 7 days in advance and bear the consequences of late notifications. Organizers are responsible for ensuring events comply with Hong Kong laws and safety standards and for handling event-related complaints or disputes.
The Platform strives to provide stable services but cannot guarantee freedom from interruptions or technical errors. In cases of service suspension due to system maintenance, server failures, network issues, or force majeure (e.g., weather disasters, cyberattacks), the Platform will notify users via website announcements or email as soon as possible. Transactions during interruptions may be canceled and reprocessed after restoration, and users are not entitled to additional compensation. For losses due to technical errors (e.g., duplicate charges, ticketing system failures), the Platform will endeavor to rectify issues upon verification but is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
The Platform is committed to providing a high-quality online ticketing and event management experience and makes the following commitments:
These commitments are made based on reasonable efforts and are subject to limitations from force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, government policy changes) or technical constraints. If commitments cannot be fully met, the Platform will provide remedies within a reasonable scope but assumes no additional legal or financial liability.

Without prior written consent from the Platform, no individual or entity may reproduce, download, adapt, distribute, publicly display, or use the content for commercial purposes, or they will face legal consequences.
Any content uploaded by users (e.g., comments, photos, event suggestions) must comply with Hong Kong law and must not include defamatory, infringing, or illegal material. By uploading content, users grant the Platform a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display the content to support platform operations. Users warrant that they have legal rights to uploaded content; otherwise, they are liable for losses (including legal fees) arising from infringement.
The Platform strictly complies with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) in handling your personal data, including name, phone number, email address, ID number, and payment information. This data is used solely for processing orders, sending event notifications, verifying identity, and improving service quality. Without your explicit written consent, the Platform will not disclose your personal data to third parties (except event organizers or as required by law). Users have the right to access and request corrections to their personal data by submitting a written request via email (info@ectickets.com). For details, refer to ourPrivacy Policy.
Users must comply with the following rules, or the Platform reserves the right to terminate accounts and pursue legal action:
Violation of these rules will result in permanent account suspension and may lead to legal action, including claims for damages and legal fees.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes arising from these Terms, use of the Platform, or related transactions shall first be resolved through written negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes will be submitted to the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC) for arbitration in Hong Kong, conducted in Chinese or English, with the arbitral award being final and binding. The Platform reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings in Hong Kong courts to enforce arbitration awards or address urgent matters.
The Platform reserves the right to unilaterally modify these Terms at any time, with changes published on the website (www.ectickets.com/terms-and-conditions) and effective immediately upon publication. Users are responsible for regularly reviewing updated Terms, and continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If users do not accept the changes, they must immediately cease using the Platform and its services.
