Norwegian violinist and Hardanger fiddle player Ragnhild Hemsing draws on her folk music roots to bring new musical insights into Grieg’s timeless melodies. Vivaldi’s musical depictions of singing birds, gentle breezes, violent storms and icy temperatures resonate also in her Nordic world. Expect an evening of deeply familiar music, performed with unexpectedly fresh colours.
