Before taking the stage with his trio, legendary New York jazz drummer Ari Hoenig will share his firsthand insights, diving deep into the core of Jazz rhythms.
Widely recognised as a rhythm genius and a pioneer of "melodic drumming", Ari is also an experienced music educator. In this masterclass, he will demonstrate and explain how to build and expand one’s rhythmic vocabulary through subdivisions and groupings. Additionally, he will share key strategies for interacting effectively with other musicians on the bandstand.
