Lee Jin Ah is a jazz-based singer-songwriter from Korea whose musical style covers a diverse range of genres, including pop, R&B, hip-hop, ballads, and electronic music. She will visit Hong Kong to perform in the “440 Series Concert: Gureum” and hold a masterclass, where she will share the sources of her musical inspiration, and how she turns everyday thoughts into lyrics and chord progression. She will also disclose her own journey of finding her musical styles—studying the music she truly loves while exploring how improvisation can naturally lead to songwriting.
At the masterclass, the participants have a chance to perform their own works and receive constructive feedback and guidance from Lee Jin Ah, alongside a discussion on overcoming creative challenges with curiosity and openness.
